About this piece

Time Keeper is a one-of-a-kind curated-stone bolo tie. A curated fossil-coral stone in caramel amber with dark swirled veining — deep time from Southeast Asia, set on braided leather with brass tips. The stone itself comes from Southeast Asia; it was cleaned, tumbled and hand-polished on the lapidary wheel in Kona, where the tie is finished. The cord is braided leather (see photos), roughly 36–40″ adjustable, finished with brass-tone metal tips. The slide closes with a metal clasp on the back. $145, in stock; ships free in the US with a hand-signed provenance card.

How it wears & care

Keep the leather cord dry and put the bolo on last, after lotion, sunscreen or cologne has dried. Wipe the stone with a soft dry cloth and store it flat or hanging somewhere cool and dry.
